CHURCH DONATION
brought in their coin boxes to donate to Shakespeare
Link's Summer 2007 Project in Mozambique. The
children raised more than $200. Receiving the
donation with Rev. Shelley Roberts were
Shakespeare Link co-ordinator, Cathy Kennedy
MacKinnon, who grew up in Palgrave, and Montes
Namuli Dancer Pulga Muchochoma who returns to
Mozambique after a year of dance study in Canada.
Seven Canadians will be travelling to Mozambique,
Africa this summer to continue to work with the
dance/theatre group Montes Namuli to provide AIDS
education through drama. Joyce MacKinnon and her
daughter Cathy, will be two of the participants.
Palgrave United Church will host a fund-raising
benefit night with all donations going to Shakespeare
Link May 27, at 7 p.m. at Bolton United Church.
