FIDDLER, BAND AT CHURCH
Claude Church is very pleased to welcome back Shelburne and Grand Masters

champion fiddler Mark Sullivan with The Brian Pickell Band Friday, May 25. It will be

a wonderful evening of bluegrass and Celtic traditional music. In addition to

Canada's finest fiddle player, the band includes composer and mandolin player Brian

Pickell, James Stephens on fiddle, viola and other stringed things, Julie Schryer on

keyboards, and Pat O'Gorman on pipes and flutes. The band's new CD, 'Entwined,'

has been receiving rave reviews and they are enthusiastically welcomed wherever

they play. Hearing this wonderful band in the intimate acoustic setting of this historic

Caledon church will be unforgettable. The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at

Claude Presbyterian Church, 15175 Hurontario Street, Caledon. (3 km north of King

Road). Tickets ($20) are available from Acoustic Traditions Music in Orangeville, or

call the church office to reserve, 905 838 3512. This event is a fund-raiser for Claude

Church, a 164-year-old designated historic building.
