Writer didn't coin 'Kyotophile'

As usual, Mr. Crease avoids having to debate the issues by setting up a straw man and knocking him down. Since trivia seem to be the order of the day, I confess I did not invent "Kyotophile" (I wish I had!). To my knowledge it has been in use since the beginning of the year, around the same time that they were starting to refer to people holding my views as "Deniers."

However, whereas my word has a certain wry humour, their's is a disgusting, obscene epithet, in view of its past associations. I deduce from this that they are getting rattled, as their case continues to crumble under the increasing weight of intelligent discussion.

Anyway, I'm very glad that Mr. Crease is going in to bat for the Liberals, which at least ensures that he will not get in, this being the safest Conservative stronghold in Ontario. As for a meeting, if he speaks with the same tone of sneering condescension that he writes, no, I don't think so, thank you very much.
