OPP Report 1-888-310-1122 Sunday, April 29, a business on Browning Court in Bolton was entered. A safe was reported stolen. The contents of the safe are still being determined. Drugs Thursday, April 26, a traffic stop on The Gore Road near King Street led to the arrest of the driver. Nelson Aguiar, 32, of Mississauga, was charged with Drive While Under Suspension, Possession of Cocaine and Possession-Schedule III. He will appear in court May 31. Mischief Tuesday, April 24, a homeowner on Centreville Creek Road reported damage had been caused to decorative items on their front lawn. Friday, April 27, a business owner on Highway 10 has reported some damages caused to the front door. Friday, April 27, a light post at the end of a McLaughlin Road driveway was smashed sometime during the evening hours. Stolen Vehicle Saturday, April 28, a burned out vehicle was recovered, abandoned in a wooded area off of Forks of the Credit Road, west of Highway 10. Sunday, April 29, a vehicle was reported stolen from a business lot on Piercey Road. The dump truck was left parked overnight beside a building, however, it was stolen during the night hours. Threats Monday, April 16, a courier deliveryman was threatened by a man holding a knife when he delivered a package to a Boston Mills Road residence. Michael Faulkner, 43, of Caledon, was charged with Assault with a Weapon and will appear in court May 17. Theft Monday, April 23, tires and rims were stolen off of two vehicles that were parked overnight at a business on Simona Drive in Bolton. At another business located on Regional Road 50, four tires were stolen off of two separate vehicles parked at their location. Monday, April 23, a newspaper box that sat outside a business on Cataract Road was reported stolen. Another on Main Street in Alton has also been reported stolen. Friday, April 27, tires and rims were stolen from a Regional Road 50 business during the night hours. Two vehicles were jacked up on one side to enable two tires from each vehicle to be removed. Saturday, April 28, an unlocked vehicle parked at an Ironhorse Crescent residence in Bolton was entered overnight. The vehicle's radio was stolen. Two unlocked vehicles parked at a Harvest Moon Drive residence were also entered the same night. Sunglasses and golf clubs were stolen from the two vehicles but both items were located in the neighbour's vehicle. An identification card was stolen from the neighbour's vehicle but later located discarded on the roadway. A wallet was reported stolen from a parked vehicle at a Hathaway Crescent residence. Sunday, April 29, new cable wire being installed along Cedar Main Drive in Caledon was reported stolen before it could be properly installed. Tuesday, April 17, a vehicle was entered while left parked overnight at a Kingsview Drive residence. A camera has been reported stolen from the vehicle. Saturday, April 14, a vehicle parked on Esposito Drive has been reported entered during the night hours. A pair of sunglasses has been reported stolen from the vehicle. Sunday, April 15, a window of a vehicle was smashed while it was left parked in a Queen Street parking lot in Bolton. A purse has been reported stolen from the vehicle. Criminal Charges Tuesday, April 24, a traffic stop on McEwan Drive in Bolton resulted in the arrest of both men in the vehicle. The driver, 67-year-old Douglas Havers of Toronto, was charged with Possession of Break-in Instruments, Possession Property Obtained by Crime, Breach of Probation (x2) and Driving While Under Suspension. The passenger, 53-year-old Allan Taylor of Willowdale, was charged with Possession of Break-in Instruments, Possession Property Obtained by Crime, Breach of Recognizance (x2). Both men were released with court dates of May 10. Tuesday, April 24, a vehicle stop for a Highway Traffic Act offence on King Street near Dixie Road resulted in a criminal charge for the driver, who falsely identified himself to the officer. Aleem Adil Tayub, 23, of Caledon, was charged with the criminal offence of Obstruct Police. A court date has been set for May 24. Domestic Disputes Caledon OPP officers responded to six domestic disputes between April 25- 29. Charges were laid in Palgrave, April 26. OPP officers responded to nine domestic disputes between April 16 and 22. Charges were laid April 16, 19 and 21 in Caledon, and in Mayfield West, April 19. Caledon OPP officers responded to six domestic disputes between April 9 and 13. Charges were laid in Bolton April 9 and Caledon April 10. |
