Another successful year for girls' hockey The King Cavalry Girls Hockey Association entered two teams (peewee and bantam) this past season to compete in the North Metro Girls' Hockey League. After completing league play against the other girls' hockey associations from across southern Ontario, both teams successfully won their respective playdowns to compete in the provincial championships held recently. This association, in its second year of operation, is proud of the effort and commitment put forth from both the players and parents. These girls representing the Townships of King, Caledon, and New Tecumseh have enjoyed developing new friendships and reaping the benefits of dedicated teamwork. Looking forward to next season, the King Cavalry will be operating player tryouts, which began April 20. Girls interested in playing rep. hockey for the Cavalry that are bantam age (born in 1993 and 1994) are encouraged to attend the tryouts. For more information on the schedule and location of the tryouts, please visit the Web site www.kingcavalry.com. If you have any questions about the association or the teams for next season, please email them at contact@kingcavalry.com . |
