Gorgeous gardening at the B&DHS
By Patti Baker

Horticultural expert Trish Symons will be presenting a most unusual and interesting topic at the Thursday, May 3 meeting of the B&DHS; How to Plant a Mae West Garden. Imagine the types of flowers that can be associated with the legendary actress and words such as big, bold and beautiful come leaping to the mind.

Trish Symons is a horticultural judge, speaker and designer who, in 2006 won first place at Canada Blooms for her design Night Life in the City. Not bad for a county girl!

Join in for a memorable evening with the B&DHS at 7:30 p.m. at the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness. Admission is free for members, $3 to the public and $2 for members of other horticultural societies. For membership info, call Cathy Brown at 905-857-1460.
