STUDENTS, STAFF FACE OFF
Tuesday, March 27 Pope John Paul II School held its annual Good Old Hockey

Game - grade 8 students versus teachers and parents. Students form grades 4 to

8 were bussed to the Don Sheardown Memorial Arena to cheer on their favorite

teams. Both teams played with a high degree of tenacity and skill, It was an

exciting game with the student team, eventually winning 7-3. Way to go Pope

Panthers! What a great way to encourage school spirit! Special thanks to

Mr.Cameron and Mr. Maiolino for volunteering their time to referee and coach the

grade 8 team respectively.
