Councillor remembered

For the second time in less than a month Caledon council paid its respects to a former councillor who died recently.

Peter Wylie died April 5 while vacationing with his wife in the Hawaiian islands, announced Mayor Marolyn Morrison.

The Town lowered its flags to half staff until after his funeral which was held in Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Wylie served as the area councillor for Ward 5 from 1991 to 1997.

Just a few weeks earlier, council paid its respects to former councillor John Davidson who died March 18. Davidson also served on council from 1991 to 1997.
