Town releases first environmental action report
      Demonstrating leadership in progressive environmental stewardship, the Town of Caledon has released its first Environmental Action Report. The report highlights the Town's environmental achievements between 2005 and mid- 2007, with an outlook to future initiatives.

Alton Grange open house

Tilson submits motion on identity theft
      David Tilson, MP for Dufferin-Caledon, submitted a motion to the clerk of the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics (ETHI), April 20, requesting that the committee prepare a comprehensive study and report to the House of Commons on the increasing crime of identity theft.

Annual debt repayment
      The provincial government has calculated Caledon's 2007 annual debt repayment limit to be $8.3 million. Provincial policy allows municipalities to incur debt charges equivalent to 25 per cent of their net revenue fund revenues which include tax levies, user fees and other income.
