Alton Public School's Annie Jr. tiny but mighty!

Stars of Annie Maddy Crowther (Annie), Morgan Giles (Grace) and Andrew Newall (Warbucks).
From the carefully choreographed banging of buckets and swirling of mops, the Annie Jr. orphans set the stage for an evening that showcased the amazing theatrical talent of the young elementary students of Alton Public School.

The evening performance of April 5 at Erin Centre 2000 was the culmination of many, many hours of practising and rehearsing put into Annie Jr. by Alton students and staff. This outstanding production was a reflection of the enthusiasm, dedication, and talent of this school of only 146 students.

Many people who attended the evening performance were astounded to learn that Alton does not possess a real gym and, definitely, no school stage. All the Annie magic created by these young stars was brewed in the tiny, bountiful cauldron of Alton's flourishing performing arts program.

The students of Alton public school don't let something as insignificant as "no stage" stop them! To these inspired young performers and backstage creators, the world is their stage for showcasing excellence in action. The little school that could ... tiny but mighty!
