Skate park rules approved The rules for public use of the Caledon Skate Park were recently approved by Caledon council. The Caledon Skate Park is Caledon's first permanent, concrete skateboarding facility, located at the North Hill Park in Bolton. Construction is mostly complete and it will be in full operation this summer. Under the rules, the Caledon Skate Park is intended and designed for skateboard use only. The park shouldn't be used during wet or icy conditions or during inclement weather. No glass container or other breakable item, and no metal can or sharp object should be used for any purpose in the park. A child's parent or legal guardian should accompany and supervise any child in the park. As well, every person using the park should wear a CSAapproved helmet and protective gear, including but not limited to, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves and wrist guards. Users should also inspect the park before skateboarding to ensure no dangerous conditions exist. They should also demonstrate respect for other people using the park. |
