11 Town staffers make $100,000 list The Town of Caledon had 11 staff members make $100,000 or more in salary in 2006, according to figures released by the Ministry of Finance last week. This was four more people than in 2005. Chief administrative officer Patrick Moyle topped the list with a salary of $184,566.07 and taxable benefits of $14,960.57. He received a raise of $9,812.84 from the previous year. Treasurer Sam Jones was the next highest earner with a salary of $132,845.13 and taxable benefits of $717.65. He had a raise of $5,256.91 from the year before. Director of legal services Nadia Koltun was paid $117,071.63, an increase of $3,465.14 from 2005. Town solicitor David Ostler made $112,190.60, a raise of $3,204.99. Mark Sraga, chief building official and director of building and enforcement, received $112,003.72 in pay, an increase of $9,717.61. Craig Campbell, director of public works and engineering, also earned a salary of $112,003.72, which was $8,859.40 more than the previous year. Making the $100,000 list for the first time were chief librarian Bill Manson at $108,009.42, recreation director Eriks Eglite at $107,332.58, human resources director Rebecca Moore-Whitsitt at $104,631.70, planning director Mary Hall at $100,502.83 and fire chief Brad Bigrigg at $100,269.28. Caledon OPP Inspector Andy Karski, who is listed under the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, was paid $116,972.04, an increase of $12,714.15 over the previous year. |
