Our annual meeting Sunday, April 22 will begin our official new year. Monica Smith will assume the president's chair and promises a year second to none. We enter our 12th. year confident it will be a year to remember. To pastpresident Stan Walters and his executive we extend a grand thank-you. Sadly, due to the unfortunate terminal illness of our president Stan, our executive under the able chair of incoming president Monica Smith have been carrying on to our 2006- 2007 extended year-end. President Stan gave unselfishly his time, effort and talent to our centre. To Stan, his wife Dorothy and family we say, "Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again."

A grand "hurrah" to our centre manager Beverly Nurden, her staff including past-president Robert ( Bob) Smith, (recipient of his third Paul Harris Fellow, Sapphire award, Rotary's highest award) and our centre pillar supreme. To our countless volunteers and members who have given and we know will continue to give their efforts and support to president Monica and our centre.

Our annual members meeting will be held Sunday, April 22, 2 p.m. at the centre. We require your presence and support, (proxies are not you), to ensure we plan and accomplish what You wish for our future. Expansion plans and status, charitable giving status, new and exciting programs, events for you and our financial budget position after our major April fund-raiser. Make every effort to attend this important meeting. Yes, we enter a new year. It will be exciting and full of new beginnings bigger and better than ever. Your participation will make it so!
