office in the Royal Courtyards on the second floor. On hand for the official opening

were Kelly Darnley, president and CEO of the Caledon Chamber of Commerce; Faith

Orlando, co-ordinator of Jobs Caledon; Dufferin-Caledon MP David Tilson; Stan

Shabason, chair of the board of directors; Sylvia Jones, MPP John Tory's executive

assistant; and Natalie Hernandez, the volunteer

designer of the office. The renovations started in

December and finished March 22. The furniture was all

refurbished. Orlando said the community gave more

than they asked. Jobs Caledon is staffed by three fulltime

and five part-time employees and is open

Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.,

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4:30

p.m. The office had nearly 6,000 visits in 2006.
