Credit Valley tour train holds murder mystery

Orangeville Brampton Railway¿s Credit Valley Explorer Tour Train presents an exciting murdermystery dinner tour featuring a 1940s big band theme April 21.

Dress up in your best Glenn Miller-era outfit and be part of the fun on this special charter tour. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a welcome reception and hors d'oeuvres in the Orangeville station, where members of Murders Tastefully Executed will mingle with passengers and set the stage for the evening's events to unfold.

A choice of Atlantic salmon or top sirloin dinner will be served in the dining car as the train travels through the Credit Valley. Meanwhile, the mystery deepens, clues are given and suspects questionably questioned. Jump in and be a part of the mystery, or just sit back, be waited upon and enjoy the laughs and entertainment. Upon return to the Orangeville station, passengers will be welcomed with a post-tour reception and dancing to a live band playing big-band era favourites before heading home with a souvenir of the evening.

The return fare is $110 per person, which includes train tour, dinner, murdermystery and entertainment. Complimentary nonalcoholic refreshments are served throughout the tour, and a cash bar is available.

Advance reservations are required. For reservations and information visit www.creditvalleyexplorer.c om or call 1-888-346-0046.

Scenic highlights include the 1,146-foot-long railway trestle bridge spanning the Credit Valley and the Forks of the Credit River, and the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park at Cataract.
