'Dying to Be Thin' at theatre

Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m. Theatre Orangeville will present Dying To Be Thin, a play written by Linda A. Carsen, A Touring Production by Roseneath Theatre.

The story takes us inside the life of Amanda, a young girl who struggles with the eating disorder bulimia. She is determined that "this binge will be her last," but along the way realizes she needs help.

Dying to Be Thin is a professional production aimed at ages 12 and up. The story is delivered with humor and compassion and will touch all who see it. After the show there will be a panel of specialists who deal with the treatment and referral of those with eating disorders. They will facilitate a discussion and take questions from audience members.

This is an important and timely show, a must-see for all young people and their parents!
