Designing Women' at the Millcroft Inn and Spa

Monday, April 2, three designing women from the Hills of Headwaters will bring urban chic to the beautiful country setting of the Millcroft Inn and Spa.

Genie Hayward, owner of The Ascot Room in Belfountain (2006 retailer of the year) has teamed up with Anne Stubbs, a design consultant, and owner of Beaver Mills Design in downtown Erin and Anne-Marie Warburton, a jewellery designer, and owner of Gallery Gemma Jewellery Art in the Historic Alton Mill in Alton. These designing women have joined forces with the Spa at the Millcroft to create a wonderful ladies' day entitled "A Gathering of Beautiful Things."

The day begins at 10 a.m. with coffee, followed by inspiring morning and afternoon workshops. They will break for a gourmet lunch from Millcroft's award winning chef Roberto Fracchioni, and participants will enjoy a spring fashion show featuring the fabulous clothing lines of the Ascot Room, accessorized with jewellery from Gallery Gemma.

Value & Beauty of Pearls - Anne-Marie Warburton of Gallery Gemma in Alton.

A skin care makeover from the Spa at the Millcroft.

At 3 p.m. guests will be welcomed to the "marketplace." Here you can have a private mini-consultation on home decorating, as well as pearl consultations for restringing or restyling advice. All the fashions of the day, the Spa's skin care and makeup line, and much more will be available for sale.

And there's more - door prizes through out the day and take home gift bag for everyone. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Family Transition Place.
