Personal thanks

I would like to extend a personal thank you to the many members of the Bolton and Caledon communities and the local newspapers for offering their love and support towards my volunteer experience in Ecuador this coming May. A particularly big thank you to my devoted sponsor, Richard Hunt, and to the generous donation of the Rotary Club of Bolton.

MINGA, the coming together for the betterment of the community, is a philosophy in which I strongly believe and I am proud that other Canadians are participating in daily MINGAs of their own. Free the Children and Craig Keilburger have adopted this useful Ecuadorian term, and thanks to the generous financial support from the Bolton and Caledon communities, I will have the privilege of participating in a real MINGA by helping to build and teach at the new high school in a small community in Ecuador.

Thank you again, and I encourage everyone to participate in a little MINGA of their own in this wonderful community.
