Feeding the Community Spirit
Donor generosity brought holiday cheer

Every year at Christmas, we at Caledon Meals on Wheels volunteers never cease to be amazed at the generosity of our many friends in our community and beyond. Each year, through this generosity we are able to make the Christmas season a little brighter for all of our clients. Many of these generous people also support us at other times throughout the year.

This Christmas was no exception and we wish to pay tribute and express our sincere thanks to those who were so generous. We received donations in either cash or kind from Alternative Answers, Avalon Rainbow Auxiliary, Brampton Quilting Guild, Bolton United Church Women, Caledon Community Singers, Cavalier Christmas Week- George Ledson, CIBC, The Clorox Company, The Dufferin Piecemakers Quilting Guild, and the Old Timers Hockey Club. In addition we received further cash donations from many individual donors.

For several years, at Christmas, we have held a silent auction of items donated to us. Again this year many people donated items for this auction. With the generosity of many this auction raised $610 and we express our thanks to all those who contributed, the proceeds being used to provide a small gift for each client.

We can never adequately express our thanks for the kindness and generosity of our many supporters. However, please be assured that all of us at Caledon Meals on Wheels and our clients deeply appreciate your caring and concern.
