New comedy opens at Blackhorse A Bad Year for Tomatoes by John Patrick, is the latest Blackhorse production set to open March 21. Chaotic comedy ensues when cultures clash. With a blend of humour that resembles the TV classic Green A problem arises with her Acres, meets Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, then add an Agatha Christie murder mystery for an evening of pure entertainment. Fed up with the pressures and demands of her acting career, the famous Myra Marlowe leases a house in the tiny New England village of Beaver Haven to settle down and write her autobiography. nosy omnipresent neighbours, and in an attempt to shoo them away, and gain some privacy, Myra invents a homicidal sister who is kept locked up in an upstairs room. The talents of Kate Horzempa (from Barrie), Nadia Casagrande (Palgrave), Brian & Annie Neale (Tottenham), Mark Power (Tottenham), Diana Crabtree (Alliston), Greg Cebelak (Alliston) fill the hilarious cast of characters.
