The Lightning led the league from start to finish and finished in first place with a 13-3-4 record. The team allowed only 25 goals against, by far the best in the league, led by goaltenders Peter Coghill and Simon Serpe with solid defence from Brandon Heinrichs, Jacob McAree, Tyler Norrie, Dale Reinhart, and Terry Skaltsiotis. Forwards Tyler Begley, Scott Foley and Jonathan Dunn were a close 1-2-3 in scoring while Shaun Fraser, Matt White and Cory Graham were not far behind.
