Old house restoration workshop

Heritage Caledon, in conjunction with Edifice Old Home Magazine, is pleased to present an Old House Restoration Workshop in Caledon East Saturday, April 21.

A five-hour workshop on ways to maintain, restore and rehabilitate your old house. Learn about modern materials, techniques and historically accurate restoration practices. Topics include roofing, masonry & siding, wood windows, plaster, trim, painting, caulking, problems with damp, insulation, kitchen and baths and much more!

Workshop leader Dr. Christopher Cooper is editor-in-chief of Edifice Old Home Magazine. With 24 years experience in the restoration of historic buildings, Dr. Cooper is recognized in Canada and internationally as one of the premier professionals in the field. An entertaining speaker, Cooper has lectured widely about the conservation of older buildings, and has worked extensively on television, including the soon to be released "Cooper's Canada."
