Justin Trudeau to speak at fund-raiser in Brampton

Rapport Youth & Family Services is excited to announce that Justin Trudeau is scheduled as the keynote speaker at their upcoming fund-raiser. The fund-raiser is scheduled for April 3 at The Brampton Rose Theatre.

Tickets are $75 for floor seats and $50 for balcony seats, with a reception scheduled for 6 p.m. The MC for the evening is Hina Khan, host of the television show Save Us from Our House, seen on the "W" Network. A special introduction by former Ontario Premier William (Bill) Davis is set to commence the evening.

The education and empowerment of youth are priorities that have dominated Justin Trudeau's professional and personal life. Shortly after completing a bachelor of arts degree in English literature at McGill University, Trudeau moved to Vancouver to earn a bachelor's of education degree from the University of British Columbia. For the next four years, Trudeau devoted himself to teaching children of all ages in public and private schools, in a range of subjects, which included English, French and math.

Trudeau presently resides in Montreal, with his wife Sophie Grégoire, where he is completing a master's degree in environmental geography at McGill. His work with a large number of diverse organizations and levels of government keeps him traveling extensively to help ensure that Canada is prepared to meet the challenges and responsibilities its future holds.

He is the eldest son of late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and Margaret Trudeau.
