Tales from Bowles Century Farm

Wednesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. at St. James' Anglican Church Hall, in Caledon East, Karen Lewis, the great-great-great granddaughter of the first inhabitant of the Bowles Century Farm, will be sharing the rich history, stories and photos of seven generations of the Bowles family. Karen's grandmother, Margaret Lewis, has provided much of the background of this eminent and interesting local family, who located at Lot 32, Concession 5, in East Chinguacousy (Torbram and Boston Mills Road), in the early days of what is now Caledon. The public is cordially invited to come out and add your reminiscences of the farm and family to this special evening. Adoor prize and refreshments will be provided and all are most welcome.
