Capturing Caledon' photo exhibit at local studio

Weathered" by Lisa Scale
An exhibit by four local photographers entitled "Capturing Caledon" is now on display. The winter images on display, at Bell's Framing & Fine Art in Caledon East, are part of a year-long project by Simon Burn, Chris Fertnig, Desiree Neville and Lisa Scale to capture each season in Caledon, and possibly publish a fine art book at the end of it.

"It is our hope to show the images at various locations around Caledon throughout the year," enthused Bolton photographer Lisa Scale.

"This is the first photographic only art project as far as we know in this area, and we should be able to create enough images of Caledon over the course of a year that really do sum up the superb and diverse natural features of the area and present them in the best light possible," added Burn.

The images on display at Bell's are of winter scenes, shot over the past couple of months. Limited edition numbered and signed Giclee prints are available for purchase. The show runs on until March 17. Bell's Fine Art & framing is located in Caledon East at 16078 Airport Road. For further details call Bell's at 905- 584-4000.
