Rev. Ball leads Caledon East United
Warren Ball is the part-time minister at Caledon East United Church. He was born the third child of five in a United Church minister's family. His growing years took place in no less than seven different locations, two of which were in England. After completing an undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Warren enjoyed seven years in the marketing department of a large corporation; he also married Lori! Warren eventually returned to school, however, in order to pursue the master's degree in literature that had always beckoned. It was during those two years that Warren and Lori decided to begin a family. They now burst with pride and love over their 18- year-old daughter, Alexa, and their 15-year-old son, Andrew. Warren's walk towards ordained ministry began in 1998 when he served an interim year as staff associate at his home church, Thornhill United. The process of Discernment and a Masters of Divinity degree at Emmanuel College, the United Church seminary in the Toronto School of Theology, followed directly thereafter. Warren was ordained in June of 2005 and settled in a part-time position at Trinity United Church in Malton. He is now absolutely thrilled to add part-time ministry at Caledon East United to his world.
