March Break madness at Peel Heritage Complex

Join the madness - March Break Madness - at the Peel Heritage Complex (PHC), from March 12 to 16. Bring your entire family down for some fun, art and exploration. You might even discover that your child is the next A.J. Casson.

A.J. Casson: Behind the Scenes is on display from March 7 to April 15 at the Art Gallery of Peel. Exclusively for March Break Madness, families can explore the exhibit and participate in a 10-minute dropin workshop, free with admission. Kids can make one-of-a-kind prints just like A.J. Casson did, as well as etchings using fun foam and Styrofoam. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

While at the PHC, visit the museum exhibitions that also include hands-on activities. The science of archaeology meets First Nations culture in the interactive exhibition Laboratories and Longhouses. In Our Daily Bread: Trades & Professions in Peel, learn about the lives and work of the many settlers of Peel, including shoemakers, teachers, dressmakers and blacksmiths. Discover what it was like to work in Peel's aircraft industry as an employee of the A.V. Roe Company in A Dream Remembered: The Peel Community and the Avro Arrow. Find out 20 Things You Need to Know About the Region of Peel Museum, which highlights some interesting and unusual artifacts and history about Peel.
