 | | EDITOR RECEIVES AWARD Caledon Citizen editor Mark Pavilons (left) was honored recently at the sixth annual gala in support of The Tema Conter Memorial Trust. Pavilons, along with Jon Willing, Ottawa Sun and Kevin Frankish of Citytv's Breakfast Television, received the media award, presented to those who made the most significant contribution to the community's understanding of critical incident stress and post traumatic stress disorder. Pavilons is shown receiving his award from Vince Savoia, Trust founder. The Trust was established by Savoia to honour the memory of murder victim Tema Conter and to call attention to the acute trauma encountered by emergency service workers. |
