SPEAKING CONTEST PARTICIPANTS
Sunday, Jan. 21, the Holy Family Parish CWL hosted the Mary Matthews Public

Speaking Contest. Pope John Paul II, St. Nicholas, Holy Family, and St. John the

Baptist schools competed for an opportunity to participate in the regional finals to

be held March 4 at St. John Fisher School in Brampton. After a difficult

deliberation, the Judges announced the winner, Katrina Mahoney from St. Nicholas

School and the runner-up Brayaden Fantin from St. John the Baptist School.

Congratulations to all the other participants for their hard work: Anthony Gasbarre

and Nikole Emma (Pope John Paul II School); Olivia DeLorenzo (St. John the

Baptist); Kesia Hamersak (St. Nicholas School); Vanessa DiZonno and Ron

DiPalma (Holy Family School).
