WinterFeast 2007 in the Hills of Headwaters

The Hills of Headwaters area is known principally for its historic and picturesque towns and villages, its assortment of championshipcalibre golf courses, and the beautiful hills and valleys that have been carved into the landscape by the four rivers that originate in this region.

Perhaps one of the bestkept features of the Hills of Headwaters is the outstanding cuisine available at many of the area's finer establishments - many of which rival or exceed the quality and service one would experience with a dining experience in one of Toronto's top restaurants.

In February of 2006, nine area restaurants banded together to launch WinterFeast: A Culinary Experience In The Hills Of Headwaters, which was very well received by scores of local residents and visitors to the area.

This year, from Monday, Feb. 19 to Thursday, March 8, this highly anticipated event will take place again - and expectations are that it will be even bigger than last year.

The 2007 version of WinterFeast will stay true to the format that was launched in 2006, with participating restaurants offering the option of a "prix fixe" lunch and/or dinner menu to guests. Pricing for lunch will be either $15 or $20, and the dinner price is either $25 or $35 - depending on the restaurant.

WinterFeast is an excellent opportunity to explore your backyard and acquaint yourself with the tremendous culinary talent offered in The Hills of Headwaters at a time of year when many are more inclined to stay at home and wait out the end of winter. It is also a great way for those who live and work here to show off one of the many features that makes this area so special.

As the launch date approaches, the menus and pricing for each participating restaurant will be posted on the Hills of Headwaters Tourism Web site at www.winterfeast.ca.
