Celebrities to play in Teen Ranch hockey gala

      A "hidden jewel" in Caledon will be the site for a celebrity hockey gala this Friday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. The Teen Ranch Foundation is organizing its first major event to be held at the Teen Ranch Ice Corral on the west side of Highway 10 north of Caledon village.

      On Monday, Jan. 22, John Williams (running back) and Jason Colero of the Toronto Argonauts visited Macville public school to deliver a message about bullying. Their personal stories sent a strong message to students about believing in yourself and standing up to bullies for yourself and others.

Minor bantams win Port Credit tourney
      New year's celebrations came early for the Caledon minor bantam select team as they finished 2006 with a clean sweep of the Port Credit Christmas Tournament to bring home yet another trophy to the Hawks' nest in Bolton. In Game 1, the Hawks ran over the Brampton Battalion team to the tune of 6-1.
