Caledon Cruisers hold awards night

Cruisers president Rick Hayward presented an award to John Gilroy for organizing the Wednesday night cruise nights.
At a recent dinner meeting attended by 20 members held at the Wishbone Restaurant, the Caledon Cruisers recognized several of them who have given long-term service to the club.

President Rick Hayward presented an award to John Gilmore for his diligent work in organizing the many fine Wednesday evening Cruise Nights at the new Canadian Tire Store in Bolton. John, who is also an avid fan of railroads, was presented with a full-scale rail-binding link.

Another highlight of the evening was the announcement by president Rick that hereafter, the Best of Show award presented annually at the Albion/Bolton Fall Fair will be named "The Moffatt Family Best of Show Award" for the finest vehicle at the end of year car show. Bob and Barb Moffatt have, for many years, have been generous supporters of the Caledon Cruisers as well as hosting a summertime picnic/ car show in their backyard in downtown Bolton.

Just before Christmas, at a regular club meeting, president Rick presented Bruce Berry with a plaque thanking Bruce for serving nine years on the executive as club treasurer and being the person instrumental in overseeing the formal incorporation on the club.
Club president Rick Hayward honoured Bob and Barb Moffatt by naming a major award after them.
