FIREFIGHTERS RECOGNIZED
Members of Caledon's fire department from the Alton, Caledon village and Inglewood stations were recognized

at Caledon council recently for their prompt and professional response which saved lives at a major traffic accident

last Oct. 14 on Charleston Sideroad near Mississauga Road. The representatives from the three stations

included (in uniform l to r) firefighter Greg Thompson (Inglewood), Captain Dennis Anselmi (Inglewood), firefighter

Brian Ewles (Alton), District Chief Mike Denreyer (Alton), Assistant District Chief Brian Sparks (Caledon village),

firefighter Steve Henvey (Caledon village). Council members offering their thanks included Mayor Marolyn

Morrison and councillors (l to r) Annette Groves, Doug Beffort, Gord McClure, Richard Paterak, Jason Payne,

Richard Whitehead, Nick deBoer and Allan Thompson, plus Fire Chief Brad Bigrigg (back row, right).
