Millcroft Inn & Spa to host chocolatier's dinner

In the midst of "chocolate season," lovers of chocolate and fine cuisine have another reason to rejoice.

Saturday, March 3, The Millcroft Inn & Spa will host a Chocolatier's Dinner event featuring Jennifer Stone, renowned Toronto-based chocolate expert and proprietor of js bonbons.

This event will feature a six-course chocolate-infused dinner menu (with wine pairings at each course) as well as an entertaining and informative presentation by Stone on the chocolate making process and the various methods in which chocolate can be enjoyed.

Jenn has spent many years working in the pastry kitchens of many of Toronto's top restaurants, combined with further studies at the Culinary Institute of America and the International School of Confectionary Arts.

In addition to teaching weekly chocolate making classes in the js bonbons kitchen, and guest teaching at local cooking schools, Jenn also does demos and tastings around Toronto and is also involved in many charity events - donating both her products and her time.

Jenn also has appeared on numerous TV shows, including Christine Cushing Live (Food Network Canada), Culture Shock (CBC Newsworld), The Toronto Show (Toronto One) Party Dish (Food Network Canada) and Last Call (Toronto One), and has been profiled in the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, Canadian Business Magazine, Toronto Life and Now Magazine.

This event is a great opportunity to enjoy exquisite cuisine, fine wines and to meet a true chocolate master.

Reception begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. Advance bookings are required for this event and the price is $115 per person, plus taxes and gratuities.
