Artists at library

Caledon Public Library is thrilled to present a new art exhibition at its Bolton branch through to mid- February. Artist and Bolton resident Frank Tome has joined forces with his daughter Laurie Anne Tome, who is a London, Ontario, area artist, to create an exciting new show of their best and favourite works. Upon his arrival in Canada more than 50 years ago as a young man from Maniago, Italy, Frank soon developed a love of the Canadian landscape, which is dramatically reflected in his oil and pencil works.

Laurie is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and is currently working for the Stratford Festival, creating background scenes for a stage production of Oklahoma. She specializes in the use of oils and acrylics. Caledon Public Library invites everyone to drop by and enjoy this wonderful opportunity to view some interesting and beautiful art. For open hours please phone any of the seven branches of the library or visit them o n l i n e , www.caledon.library.on.ca .

Caledon Pubic Library is always interested in showcasing the talent of local artists. If you think you might be interested, please contact Mary Maw at 905-857-1400, ext. 228.
