Evans finishes first

Andrew Evans of Caledon East, and his partner, Carolyn MacCuish of Burlington, skated to a first-place finish in the junior pairs short program at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships at Halifax. The duo earned top spot with a score of 43.77. Evans, 18, and MacCuish, 14, are coached by Lee Markell and choreographed by Tyler Myles. Their short program music consisted of Bolero from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack.
