The Act was first introduced in April 2006 and Tilson was appointed chair of the legislative committee for the FAA, in April. During his time as chair, Tilson presided over 65 hours of debates, which ran from May 3 to June 14. Following his presentation to the local club, Tilson responded to questions from Rotary members on various issues ranging from health care to the long-gun registry. At the conclusion of the evening, Tilson thanked the club for inviting him to join in their weekly meeting. "The Palgrave Rotary Club performs outstanding work in our community! They have supported countless community projects across Caledon and have touched the lives of many. I'm thrilled and honoured to be here tonight and look forward to participating in their upcoming spring events." |
