      Councillors Richard Paterak and Richard Whitehead were given authorization by Caledon council recently to sign all accounts payable cheques that are more than $10,000 should Mayor Marolyn Morrison be absent.

MP Tilson speaks at Rotary
      David Tilson, MP for Dufferin-Caledon, was invited to speak to the Palgrave Rotary Club, Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the club's weekly meeting. Tilson spoke on the new Conservative government's accomplishments to-date, including the Federal Accountability Act, which received Royal Assent in December.
