Caledon council objects to pit licence application

      A letter has been sent to the Ministry of Natural Resources by the Town of Caledon objecting to the issuance of an Aggregate Resources Act licence to Lafarge Canada Inc. because it's premature at this time.

Large-scale power outage
      Roughly 13,743 residents in Palgrave, Caledon, Bolton, King and Vaughan lost power Jan. 9 for a brief time. Hydro One reported there was a problem at a transformer station when power went out at 10:19 a.m. It was restored at 10:47.
