Power out at council

The Town Hall in Caledon East had two brief power outages Jan. 9 at 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Because the Town Hall is on generators the lights came back on within a few seconds.

Caledon council had just started it first meeting of 2007 at 10 a.m. when the outages occurred. Mayor Marolyn Morrison announced later in the meeting that the power was out in Caledon East, Bolton, King and Vaughan. She added the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness in Bolton had to be closed.
