Policing For Results

Telephone Survey

Caledon OPP will be continuing to conduct random community telephone surveys in order to improve the quality of policing delivered and determine the public's perception of safety and service from police.

Volunteers have already placed calls, which were well received by Caledon residents during December 2006. The volunteers will be continuing to conduct the telephone surveys in January 2007.

The calls will be made between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and should normally take approximately 10 minutes to be completed.

Phone numbers are chosen at random by the computer and the subject matter covers all aspects of policing, including some of the local programs that are offered. The results will be compiled into a package that will provide vital feedback for the OPP to determine what the concerns and priorities are in this community for the next two years.

Caledon OPP would like to extend their thanks in advance, to the residents of Caledon who may receive a call from the volunteers. We appreciate your time, patience and assistance with this project.

Domestic Disputes

Caledon OPP officers responded to six domestic disputes Dec. 28 and 29. No charges were laid.
