Spirit of season

I wanted to share with the citizens of Caledon a true testimony to the spirit of the season, my beloved friend and hairdresser Linda Giorgio of Linda's Hair of Silk in Bolton. Many people know of Linda in Caledon and the surrounding areas because of her hairdressing business. This newly single mom of two, knowing one of her close friends was recently diagnosed with cancer, on top of already having to deal with the effects of MS and struggling with two young children on her own, affected Linda so much that she made it her personal mission to spread the word and wonderfully managed to raise and collect enough food so that her dear friend would not have to worry about groceries and cooking while she struggles for her life and the terrible costs of her medicines.

Linda also made sure that two young girls who must be worried about their mom would indeed have a Christmas and know that they are loved and never alone in this big world because of people like Linda.

She is an inspiration and a wonderful example of the generosity and spirit of this season, so much so that she inspired my family to "pay it forward" too.
