Rotary Club of Palgrave supports Headwaters Hospital Healing Wheel of Trees

Palgrave Rotary recently donated a cheque to Headwaters. On hand for the presentation were Ann Davidson ,volunteer; Lynn Sinclair-Smith, Healing wheel co-ordinator; Wayne Cowell, Palgrave Rotary; Danila Marik, Scotia Bank; Trevor Hawkes, Palgrave Rotary.

The Headwaters Hospital recently accepted a donation of $1,000 from the Rotary Club of Palgrave to assist with the purchase of trees and the ongoing maintenance of the new Healing Wheel of Trees that enhances the entrance to the hospital.

This donation kicks off a matching donation program whereby the Scotia Bank will match donations made to this project. Funds are needed on an ongoing basis to nurture and care for this garden.

The wonderful circular dry stone wall was built by volunteers and was completed this past summer. It reflects the landscape around this area- rocks, trees, hills and is available for all to enjoy.
