CD Release Party was a blast! Local singer Marcia Barnes celebrated the release of her debut album, My Latin Roots, at the Royal Ambassador Banquet and Conference Centre in Caledon East, Nov. 30. About 300 guests filled the majestic ballroom and indulged in a magical evening of fine dining, dancing and live entertainment with Barnes and her Latin band. Throughout the show, many young guests accompanied her on stage with dazzling performances, energizing the place even more. The most impressive part of the evening was the fact the guests looked so excited and happy to have the opportunity to share this special moment with her. There was something in the air, perhaps it had to do with the love and loyalty shown by her fans. Most of the guests were from around the area but many commuted from places as far as Toronto, Burlington, Palmerston and Kitchener despite the rainy weather. Barnes’s CD is a great gift to share with friends and loved ones. It is available at the following sales locations: Broadway Musical, 232 Broadway, Orangeville, telephone 519-940-4810; The Village Music Store, 40 Main Street, Erin, telephone 519-833-9583; Belfountain Inn, 792 Forks of the Credit Road, Belfountain, telephone 519-927- 9219; Riverdale Fitness Mill, 104 Maple Avenue, Inglewood, telephone 905-838-3236; Top Of The Hill B&B, 14318 Creditview Road, Cheltenham, telephone 905-838-3790. |
