Not all plastics can be recycled at Peel facility
      The Region of Peel reminds residents to only place acceptable recyclable items in their blue box to reduce the amount of contaminated material being generated at Peel's recycling facility. Only the following plastics can be recycled in your blue box: bottles, jugs, food tubs, foam packaging and bags.

      Caledon OPP officers responded to 15 property damage and two personal injury collisions during the week of Aug. 13-19. Fraud - Flood Vehicles Importation In May 2007 the Ontario Provincial Police Anti- Rackets Section commenced an investigation into the importation and subsequent improper registration and sale of flood-damaged vehicles in Ontario.

Theft from vehicles Public's help sought in thefts
      Caleden OPP has investigated a rash of complaints of theft from vehicles last week. The thefts are taking place outside of the vehicles. Vehicle emblems have been removed from the vehicles, namely BMWs, Cadillacs, Audis and Mercedes. Most recently the entire chrome grille assembly of a Dodge Ram pickup truck was taken.
