INGLEWOOD DAY CELEBRATED
     Inglewood Day got started Saturday with a pancake breakfast. Handling the duties from the Village of Inglewood Association were (l to r) Wendy Boughton, Carl Kinzinger, Nell Crathern and David Lewis.

Support for hangars
      Caledon council is throwing its support behind a petition requesting the Canadian government refrain from destroying any of the eight remaining hangars at Camp Borden and have the government provide financial support for the preservation of this national historic site.

Kids Fun Fair in Caledon was a blast!
      What a great weekend--perfect weather for the many families who came and enjoyed the Kids Fun Fair on the Caledon Fairgrounds. The K-9 dog show was crowded for every show, the petting zoo was busy, the camel rides were crazy and the ribs - oh so good. The Ribfest was won by Jack the Ribber and the best sauce was judged to be from Crabby's BBQ Shack.

YTV FILMS AT ALLAN DRIVE
     YTV program The Zone was filming a segment called Try Something New at Allan Drive middle school recently. The Zone's host, Carlos (seated, far right), was joined by 12 pupils, all in Grade 6 except for one who is in Grade 8, in the segment about healthy snacks and an active lifestyle. Parent-volunteer Cheryl Pickess arranged for the filming through her cousin who is a producer at YTV. The Zone segments appear in between shows Monday to Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.

MYC selling raffle tickets
      The Town of Caledon Mayor's Youth Council has been selling raffle tickets to raise money for Hospice Caledon. Tickets can be purchased at Chez Thrift, Forster's Book Garden, and Bolton Men and Ladies Wear.
