Winterlude a great success
By Ashley Murray

The Humberview held its annual winter music performance, Winterlude, Dec. 14.

The cafeteria was filled with supporting audiences for the talented students. The night was filled with impressive performances, starting with the Intermediate Wind Ensemble. It was followed by a booming performance by the Percussion Ensemble, and then the Junior Jazz got the audience moving to the beat of the Jingle Bell Jam. The audience cheerfully sang along as the choir harmonized to the classic hit song, Blue Moon. The Christmas spirit was awakened when Jazzork played an all time favourite Christmas song, Let it Snow.

The MKOSA, a jazz choir, had the audience in “awe” with all the amazing talent the Humberview MKOSA choir possessed. A little nervous, the Grade 9 beginner class demonstrated a well done performance with everyone’s favourite sing-a-long Jingle Bells.

The Percussion Ensemble played once again showing off their creative beats and towards the end of the show the Senior Concert Band tied up their performance by leading the audience to a very entertaining night, and out the doors with the Swashbuckler’s March.
