CALEDON CENTRAL STUDENTS HONORED
      Several students in Caledon were chosen as finalists in a Remembrance Day initiative by the Royal Canadian Legion Lt. Algie V.C. Branch 449 in Alton and honoured at a presentation Nov. 25. Students developed posters, essays and poems that were judged by veterans in the region.

Enrolment increases
      The Dufferin-Peel Catholic district school board had an enrolment of 88,877 students as of Oct. 31 which represented an overall increase of 126 students from a year ago. Elementary enrolment decreased by 1,084 pupils while secondary enrolment increased by 1,210 students.

      The Dufferin-Peel Catholic district school board was pleased to announce 366 students across the board have received the province’s Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for Top Scholarships.
