DOWNTOWN BEAUTIFICATION
Another piece of downtown Bolton’s beautification

puzzle has been completed.

The Bolton Community Action Site, a volunteer

citizen’s group whose mandate is to make

improvements on public land along the Humber River,

worked with the Town and Region of Peel to create a

parkette on the southeast corner of the River at

Queen St.

The result is a patterned red concrete apron with five

picnic tables, surrounded by trees and limestone block

terracing. This is yet another in an ongoing series of

improvements to enable the public to enjoy the banks

of the historic Humber River while visiting downtown

Bolton.
