Orangeville Theatre presents ‘Twas

Theatre Orangeville brings you the world premiere of Eric Woolfe’s

Twas, the true story of Santa Claus like you’ve never heard it before!.

Theatre Orangeville’s Christmas production ‘Twas runs through Dec. 23.

Brought to life through Theatre Orangeville’s New Play Development initiative,

Twas takes us somewhere close to the North Pole during the early 1930s to a fantastical world inhabited by

elves and icy empresses and where one magic book can unlock the key to making any toy in the entire world. It is here that the destiny of a young cat burglar named Crimson Nick is revealed.

Canadian Playwright Eric Woolfe has been receiving grand reviews for his work on stage in Toronto. This play promises to be anything but an ordinary Christmas production and will leave the audience spell-bound. ‘Twas will play host to some of the theatre’s favorite actors as well as some fantastic local talent.

Local young talent includes Elizabeth DuBois (Orangeville), Cameron Kennedy (Erin), Carleigh Knudson (Orangeville), Hannah Manzi (Tottenham), Aidan O’Brien (Palgrave).
